I love painting Tintin fanart but for an aspiring pro illustrator, fanart is so useless - I can’t sell prints of it, can’t license it to anyone, can’t make merchandise of it, can’t show it at some websites, can’t enter it in many contests, etc. etc. :/ Also, I don’t want to ruin a potential client’s childhood.
